Transition Instructions
Pets can be sensitive to sudden changes in their diets. For this reason, it is extremely important to follow a gradual transition plan to best support your pet's health and product effectiveness. It is recommended to follow at least a 7-day transition plan before exclusively feeding your pet a new food. Start by mixing 75% of your pet's current diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the current diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the current diet with 75% of the new diet. On Day 7, you can feed your pet the new food exclusively. Ask your Veterinarian about the best way to transition your pet to a new food.

Wonderful find!

We rescued our latest girl in January she had come from a 5 year horrible puppy mill environment. She suffered from digestive issues from the very beginning and with many trips to the vet and after trying every diet we finally found ProPlan Gastroenteric. She's 100% improved and is living the good life she so deserves! I would HIGHLY recommend this product!

This is the 7th food we have our Pyranese mix on - his poop is becoming more solid on this food. We've tried so many different brands and type and mixes and so far this one is helping. It takes about 7 days to start seeing improvement and we are hoping this is it.

Finally, something that works

This was our 5th attempt (including second prescription) to get something that wouldn't cause loose stool or diarrhea in our pup. It works! Not because of a food allergy, but according to our veterinarian nutritionist, the addition of colostrum helping with stress and immune health. Whatever, we now have a balanced kibble for the health and growth of our puppy. Yay!

We had to put our dog on Purina Pro EN Dry food because he was having diarrhea. This is a great choice for this problem. I say this every time I order from Chewy about the speed of delivery! We ordered this food on Sunday and it was delivered Monday. I'm not sure how they do it but delivery never takes longer than 2 days.

This kibble works well for GI issues, like chronic diarrhea. We've had an incredible improvement in our dogs health since we started using it. Dogs aren't wild about the taste, but they don't like any dry that much.

Happy Gut, No more soft serve!

My 9 yr old Boston/Frenchy had loose stool (aka soft serve) for three weeks. The vet had him on meds to help, which had in the past. After switching him to this food, his gut was much happier and so was his Butt lol.

Best food EVER

My puppy had major digestives issues before putting him on this food. He was on a probiotic and pumpkin but his stools were awful. After about 1 week I began to see some improvement and now that he has eaten this for awhile he is off the pumpkin. His stools are perfect however he periodically needs to have his anal gland expressed so vet recommended he stay on the probiotic. Highly recommend

Optimum Poops

Our Great Dane has always had soft mushy, difficult to pick up stool. No matter what foods we tried. At 150 pounds of dog, not what you hope for. Our Vet gave us a sample of this food for our geriatric Basset Hound who was having some gastro issues. The Bassett wouldn't touch it because she is a very finicky eater. I know, hard to believe because she is a hound. So I decided to put a small amount of it in our Danes food each feeding just to use it up. Well, I'll be darned if soon after doing this, his stool started to actually be formed stools! So now we had our vet give us the prescription for him. The Basset eats the canned version of this and loves it.
